What are the requirements to study with Foundation Education?

Our <a href="https://www.foundationeducation.edu.au/courses/vet-in-schools-program#schoolscourses">VET in Schools Program</a> allows students in year 10, 11 or 12 complete a VET (vocational education and training) qualification that will prepare them to step straight into a job or continue onto university following graduation.

What is the VET in Schools Program?

How much does it cost to study Foundation Education Courses?

How do I enrol?

While all theoretical elements of your course can be completed online, some of our courses do have certifications and diplomas that require work placement hours. These include: &middot;

Are all Foundation Education courses completed online? 

We are one of the few Registered Training Organisations (RTO) in Australia who endeavour to deliver qualifications that are nationally recognised.

Is Foundation Education an accredited RTO?

Your weekly study load will depend on your chosen course and the individual pace at which you choose to study.
Our courses are designed to be delivered online, which means you can complete them at your own pace, in your own time. This means you can fast-track your studies and graduate sooner if you wish or take your time to focus on work or family commitments.
To help you stay on track and complete your course, you will be provided with an individual study plan upon enrolment. Managed through our custom-made learning management system My eCampus, you can set your own course completion date and schedule assignment deadlines that fit around any holidays or personal commitments.

How many hours a week will I need to spend on study? 

Certificate-level Qualifications: Provide a basic set of industry specific vocational skills and knowledge.
Diploma-level Qualifications: Equip students with advanced-level skills, preparing them for careers in mid to senior-level management positions.

What is the difference between certificate and diploma qualifications?

Our specialists will provide advice on the type of workplace you can approach for your practical placement and, where possible, will provide you with advice and tools you can use to approach a workplace in your local area.

Will Foundation Education provide me with work placement?

No matter the industry, our courses will open up pathways to entry-level positions or expand on existing experience to progress to more senior-level roles.

What kind of employment can I get upon completing my course?

On average, Foundation Education's certificate-level courses take up to 12 months to complete, while our diploma-level courses take around 18 months.
